My Favorite Poppleton Book

The second grade students in Mrs. Harder's reading group were excited to finish the school year by reading Poppleton books.  We read books as a group, with a partner, and individually.  Poppleton always had an interesting adventure and the students wanted to share their favorite book with you!

Ncu and Fellipe enjoyed reading Mouse Soup (not a Poppleton book).  

They both liked how the mouse tricked the weasel and escaped from being eaten!

Shawn's favorite Poppleton book was Poppleton in Winter.  In that book Poppleton made a snow man and treasured his icicles.  He measured his icicles and admired them every day until a bird accidentally knocked them down.  All the icicles fell down!

Carolina's favorite book was Poppleton in Winter because he had lots of fun in the snow!

Amy's favorite Poppleton story was Poppleton in Winter.  She liked that Poppleton made a snow man.  

Evelyn's had two favorite stories:  Poppleton and Friends and Poppleton in Spring.  She enjoyed reading about Poppleton getting to choose a new bike and his adventures at the beach.  

Conner's favorite Poppleton book was Poppleton Everyday.   His favorite story was when Poppleton went out on a boat with Fillmore. Poppleton had an awful time out on the boat, so at the end of the story Poppleton told Fillmore there was a shark!

Gissella also enjoyed Poppleton and Friends.  She thought that book was extremely funny and Poppleton had a lot of fun!

Jesse's favorite book was Poppleton in Winter.  Jessie loves winter and enjoyed reading about Poppleton playing in the snow.  

Saree's favorite book was Poppleon in Winter.  It was a cool book because Poppleton made a fence out of icicles and a pig snowman.
