Reader's Theatres in First Grade
The First Graders from Mrs. Jenness's room have been learning about staying healthy and how to avoid germs. Today during small group reading students performed reader's theatres for classmates.
Title I Parent Night at Storm Lake Elementary
- Parent night will be from 5:45 - 7:30p.m. on April 4th.
- We are excited to have Dan Wardell from Iowa Public Television joining us for the event!
- Plan to get moving with presenters from Buena Vista Regional Health Center in conjunction with our own health and fitness experts from Storm Lake Elementary. They will share exciting new ways to keep moving this summer.
- Learn more about the summer reading program with the Storm Lake Public Library. You will also have the opportunity to sign up for a library card.
- Discover more about the summer programs available at the Witter Gallery.
- Visit booths offered by local public service organizations

April 4th Title I Family Night
Save the date for the April 4th Family Night at Storm Lake Elementary School.
Dan Wardell from Iowa Public Television is scheduled to appear that night. In addition to Dan Wardell's appearance you will have the opportunity to learn more about other topics of interest. Fall Title 1 Family Fun Night
The fall Storm Lake Elementary Night was held on November 9th, 2010. There were approximately 300 parents in attendance. Parents could learn about fitness, CGI math, educational web sites, and nutrition. Our parent night was supported by many local businesses and public service organizations.
